Ex.would u mind closing the window Ex2. Would u mind moving your car We can notice in these 2 examples that we add (ing) with the verb So, when u want to request anything from somebody, u should say Would u mind + verb followed by (ing) + object ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~ Would u mind( if I ) : u should use this when u want 2 take the permission from somebody to do the thing that u want Ex.Would u mind if I closed the window Ex2. Would u mind if I moved your car We can notice in these 2 examples that we use the (past tense) So, when u want to take the permission from somebody to allow u to do what u want, u should say Would u mind if I + past tense + object |
